Ok well if you are getting this error when you try and install Ipod Linux than you are in the right place
![]() ok what are are going to have to do is make you a valid system file. first you are going to have to download the format here they are. they are all different according to what ipod you have. System Infos Every system info is in there just select the one that is right for your ipod ok now to fix the problem. 1. you are going to have to boot your ipod into Disk mode.(do this by holding the Menu + Center button till you see the apple, than hole the Center + Play/Pause Button). 2. Go to Mycomputer>and what ever your Ipod is called 3. now you are going to have to go into the Ipod Control. you are going to have to enable hidden files. you can do this by going to Tools>Folder Options>View>Show Hidden Files And Folders. 4.Click on Ipod_Control>Device and you should see SysInfo 5. Right Click on SysInfo and go to Open With and chose Note Pad. 6. Now you are going to paste the system File that you downloaded earlier and paste it into Note Pad 7. Were you see all the XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX you are going to have to replace that with your serial number. It can be found in your ipod or on the Ipod Box. Save it and boox Problem Fixed ~Sneaky~ |
